“ Great service, amazing food, and a cozy atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. Glad we went here and would return when in the area ”
“ So good! Beef very tasty and perfectly cooked, the Mac n cheese was great, salad incredibly fresh, their French fries are by far the best I have ever had and their pow wow shrimp was tangy and delicious. If our flight is cancelled we will be back tomorrow. I have to add that the rib eye melts in your mouth. Soooo good ”
“ I'll start with my favorite part of the meal--my incredible server, Marcus. It's been a while since I've experienced such compassionate service. Marcus truly cares, and it showed in every interaction. Now, as I wipe away my happy tears (lol), here's what I ordered: a filet (medium) with green beans, sweet potatoes, and a side of fried shrimp. The sides and shrimp were absolutely delicious! However, the steak was a miss for me. If I return, I'd probably skip it. It was undercooked--not a dealbreaker by itself--but it's disappointing given the emphasis on hand-cut steaks and local farms. Cooking to the requested temperature is important, just saying. My biggest issue was the taste. The outside of the steak had a strong, unpleasant flavor, almost like dried blood. It gave the impression that it might have been stored improperly, perhaps sitting on top of other cuts of bleeding meat before hitting the grill. Would this keep me from coming back? Absolutely not! They offer fantastic daily specials, and my only real regret is that I live in Bishop Arts, which makes it harder to visit often. Overall, I'd rate it a solid 4 out of 5 stars--losing one star for the steak's execution and storage issues. ”
“ Had excellent service and all our food came out hot and exactly how we ordered it! Got the fried cheesecake as dessert that we split. ”
“ Updating a previous review that was not that great. We went again about 3 weeks ago (I frequent the Hilton next door) and everything was great this time. I had 3 of the higher end margaritas and got a nice little buzz. Also has chips and queso and a chicken fried steak and everything was great this time. Zero issues. ”
“ Food was delicious and service was fast. I had the grilled chicken tacos and they were delicious. My coworker had the catfish and said it lacked flavor but I would say that's like say chicken strips don't have flavor, it's meant to be dipped in something or have some sauce put on it. It's very much a sports bar feel, but not cheesy looking inside. I would go back again if I'm in the area. ”
“ Love the new holiday drinks and food menu! Very festive and puts you in the holiday spirit. ”
“ Aspen Creek Grill is a great spot for dinner near DFW Airport. I sat at the bar, and Carol, my bartender and server, was fantastic. She gave great recommendations and was very friendly. The ambience was warm, with a nice mix of locals and travelers. I had the 14oz ribeye, which was cooked perfectly. The broccoli was delicious, and while the grits were a bit soupy, they tasted great. Overall, excellent food, friendly service, and great value for the price. Definitely worth a visit. ”
“ Was hungry and decided to give this a try when randomly passing it on the highway. Service was great! Clean & welcoming environment. Food was good. Potatoe skins could be better but they're not terrible. I wish they were cooked a little more on the inside but the outside was crispy. Chicken fried steak was decent size. I have a small appetite so I shared with my hubby. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A lot of places have started just making the fried steak look bigger by just adding more flour around. This ratio was more true. Meat wasn't chewy. Mash potatoes were good paired with white or brown Gravy. Spinach dip was warm and tasty with crispy chips! I would def order it again. I can't wait to come again and try their other items! ”
“ Aspen Creek Grill - A Delightful Dining Experience! If you're looking for a restaurant that delivers on all fronts, look no further. I highly recommend this place! From the moment we walked in, we received excellent service. The attentive and friendly staff ensured that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. The menu is a fantastic mix of traditional comfort food and more upscale choices that will catch your eye. On this visit, we decided to start with the Loaded Potato Skins appetizer and tried two different entrees. Loaded Potato Skins: "Made in-house and topped with melted cheese, bacon pieces and green onions. Served with sour cream and peppercorn Ranch dressing." We were off to an excellent start with these. The combination of melted cheese and crispy bacon was perfection. Country Fried Steak "Fresh hand-cut Black Angus sirloin tenderized, hand-breaded and fried. Topped with our lodge-inspired scratch-made cream gravy." I paired this with broccoli as my vegetable choice, which was a great complement. The steak was tender, and the cream gravy was rich and flavorful. Steak Kabob: The star of the evening was the Steak Kabob. "Fresh grilled vegetables & steak tips basted with a pineapple ginger soy glaze. Served on seasoned rice. Choice of one additional scratch-made side." This dish is a must-order! The steak tips were juicy, and the glaze added a delightful sweetness. It's highly recommended! Another highlight is the ambiance at Aspen Creek Grill. The rustic mountain lodge theme creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere for a date night. The restaurant is quiet, allowing for pleasant conversation and a relaxed meal. Aspen Creek Grill is a hidden gem located a bit off the trendy path. Its woodsy vibe, excellent service, and exceptional food will exceed your expectations. What more can you ask for? Add this restaurant to your dining list--you won't be disappointed! ”
